“United we stand, divided we fall”

When we started to help with the coronavirus epidemic as early as the end of January, we worked against time with one priority in mind by ensuring the health and safety of our employees while supporting diagnostic and treatment solutions for hospitals.

The situation evolved faster than one can imagine. We remind every employee to check in health status online daily, until today, since the country sounded the alarm and to provide necessary support where needed.

COVID-19 outbreak is a test for everyone, every organization and every nation involved. We are proud to have responded proactively through accelerated manufacturing, logistic, installation, service, solution sharing, and donations.

  1. Donations: SonoScape mobilized quickly and donated $700,000 USD's worth of ultrasound systems and hematology analyzers which are currently in use across China on the front lines.
  2. Accelerated and orderly manufacturing: with risk evaluation and careful precaution measures, including regular body temp check, workplace disinfections, staggered scheduling, in mid-February, 70% of the factory employees and engineers have returned to their duty in a safe working environment and produce around the clock to deliver.
  3. Work against time: we have adjusted the delivery and installation procedure, so the devices can be shipped, installed and tested within 24 hours.
  4. Online experience sharing: we helped to organize broadcasting frontline doctors' experiences in ultrasound diagnosis on COVID-19. Doctors on the screen gave out immediate and practical treatment suggestions in assessing clinical conditions.

The situation changed a bit now. 192 countries have been affected by COVID-19. We have expanded our manufacturing lines to mask production and are working to get export permits to fill the gap and donate to the countries where the epidemic is a pressing issue. The masks are now registered with CE and qualified for exportation. We will support this increasing need, as we will explore the possibilities as responsibilities.

We will always remember the countries and international organizations that lent us a hand when Wuhan hit the rock bottom. China has been working to return with the greatest effort through supporting medical supplies and publishing online learning/consulting swiftly in different languages. We realize more how technologies could make a difference in critical situations and will continue to support our customers and partners through innovation.
