Dr. Ngiu Chai Soon, Consultant Gastroenterologist from Cardiac Vascular Sentral Kuala Lumpur (CVSKL) and Icaso Hospital, Malaysia completed an intensive week of advanced endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) training at the
Ultrasound Department of Xinhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from March 24-28, 2025. Sponsored by SonoScape and our Malaysia partner Medic Pro, with clinical facilitation by Xinhua Hospital, this program marked a significant step in strengthening Sino-Malaysian collaboration in gastrointestinal (GI) diagnostics and treatment.
During the program, Dr. Ngiu Chai Soon engaged in extensive learning sessions on cutting-edge GI ultrasound techniques, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS), high-resolution ultrasound, dual CEUS, and quantitative analysis in dynamic CEUS, using SonoScape’s comprehensive EUS solutions.
